¶ Wired Connection (USB)
Use the included USB to USB-C data cable to connect the device to your computer.
- Plug the USB-C connector into the USB-C port on the E1 device.
- Plug the USB-A connector into a USB-A port on your computer.
- Open Aliencell Space. A green circle next to the device indicates a successful connection; the device is ready when its status shows "Idle".
Use the data cable included with the device (not a charge-only cable). If the device is not recognized, try a different USB-A port or cable, and avoid using a USB hub.
¶ Wi-Fi Connection
When connecting the Aliencell E1 for the first time, you must first connect it to the host computer by wire. After Wi-Fi is configured, the device can then be controlled over the network.
- Go to Device Management — Settings — Wi-Fi — Configure. Select a 2.4 GHz network to complete the Wi-Fi configuration.
