In Aliencell Space, you can precisely control which parts of your design are sent to the laser machine for processing. If you have auxiliary lines, draft shapes, or simply want to process a complex design in separate stages, you do not need to delete these objects.
Aliencell Space provides flexible ways to skip processing: Hide (making them invisible on the canvas) and Disable Processing / Do Not Execute (remaining visible on the canvas, but ignored during laser processing).
Objects that are hidden or disabled will be ignored during both the Framing and Processing stages.
If you organize your design using color layers (e.g., Purple for engraving, Red for cutting), managing them via "Color Tags" is the most efficient method. Aliencell Space offers two ways to do this:

If the shapes you need to skip do not share the same color or parameters, you can manually select and hide them.
