This guide details the workflow for connecting multiple Aliencell X1 units to a single PC and managing simultaneous engraving tasks using Aliencell Space.
Before launching the software, ensure your laser engraver is connected to the local network. Follow the steps below to connect your device.
Power on the machine. On the touchscreen, navigate to Settings > WLAN. Toggle the Wi-Fi switch to ON and tap the Refresh icon to search for networks.
Select your Wi-Fi network and enter the password.
Crucial Step: Once connected, wait for the IP Address to appear (e.g., 192.168.1.187). You will need this IP address for the next stage.
Now, pair the software with your machine using the IP address.
Open Aliencell Space. Locate the Device List on the right sidebar, expand it, and click the Add button.
A list of available devices will appear. Find the device matching the IP Address from Section 1. Click the link icon to connect.
Note: If the list is empty, ensure your PC is on the same Wi-Fi network and click the Refresh icon.
Once connected, use the Device Manager to monitor your machines.
At the top of the Device List, click the Device Manager bar. This will open the full monitoring dashboard.
In the Manager, your connected devices are listed on the left. Click on a device name to switch the main view and check its status (Idle/Busy).
Here is how to run jobs on multiple machines simultaneously.
Select the first device (e.g., PC003). Import your design, configure parameters, and click Process. The machine will start working.
Once started, switch to Device Manager and click the Play (▶) button on the camera feed to view the internal processing status.
Manage your active jobs directly from the software.
You don't need to open the manager to check progress. The Device List sidebar displays a real-time progress circle for every connected machine.
If you need to intervene, open Device Manager, select the active machine, and click the Pause or Stop button.
