The Smoke Exhaust Module is responsible for extracting fumes and dust generated during the engraving process. Over time, the internal foam filters will trap particles and resin, which can restrict airflow.
Regular cleaning is essential to:
Maintain Suction: Ensure smoke is effectively pulled out of the machine.
Protect Optics: Prevent lingering smoke from contaminating the laser lens and mirrors.
Improve Quality: Avoid smoke stains on your workpiece.
Power off the machine before cleaning!
Press the white latch on top of the Smoke Exhaust Module and gently pull the module backward to remove it.
Take out the two foam filters from inside the module.
Rinse the two filters under running water.
You must ensure the filters are completely dry before reinstalling them. Do not install wet or damp filters, as moisture can be sucked into the machine and cause damage. Please let them air dry effectively
