During laser processing, smoke and debris are generated, which can easily accumulate on the Protective Lens and Nozzle. If not cleaned regularly, this buildup may cause reduced laser power, incomplete cutting, poor engraving quality, and even permanent damage to the lens.
- Focus Lens: Installed inside the Laser Module, it concentrates the laser beam into a very small spot, increasing cutting depth and engraving precision. It is one of the most critical optical components in the Laser Module.
- Nozzle: Located at the outermost part of the Laser Emission Port, usually cone-shaped or cylindrical, with a small air outlet hole. It directs airflow to blow away smoke and debris, while also reducing the amount of dust entering the Laser Module.
- Protective Lens: Positioned between the Nozzle and the Focus Lens, typically a transparent round glass disc. Its role is to block smoke and debris from entering the Laser Module, thereby protecting the Focus Lens from contamination or damage. The Lens Mount can be replaced independently, making maintenance easier and lowering overall cost.
Protective Lens acts as a barrier, completely isolating the Focus Lens from the external environment. For routine cleaning and maintenance, you only need to clean the outer lens.
- Cotton swabs or tissues
- Alcohol

Disconnect the Air Assist Tube and the Laser Module connector in sequence. |
Pull down the handle securingthe Laser Module and gently lift it upward from the mounting slot. |
- Detach the Nozzle first, then unscrew and remove the Protective Lens.
¶ Step 3: Clean the Protective Lens and Nozzle
|
|
 |
 |
Dip a cotton swab in alcohol and gently wipe the Protective Lens until it is clean. |
Check the Nozzle for dust or blockages. If the outlet hole is clogged, clear it carefully. |
¶ Step 4: Reinstall the Protective Lens and Nozzle
- Screw the Protective Lens back into the Laser Module, then attach the Nozzle securely.

 |
Place the Laser Module back onto the mounting slot and push the handle upward to secure it. |
Reconnect the Laser Module wiring, then reattach the Air Assist Tube. |
