¶ 1. Tray Detection
The Aliencell X1 is equipped with a high-precision Hall sensor to monitor the status of the base plate (tray) in real-time. This feature effectively prevents accidental operations when the tray is not properly installed, ensuring a safe processing environment.
- When Tray Detection Function is turned on, the device automatically monitors the tray's position. If the tray is removed or not correctly installed during processing, the system will trigger a safety alert.
- When this function is turned off, the system will bypass the sensor signals, allowing the machine to operate normally even without the tray installed.
¶ 2. Use Cases and Recommendations
If you need to process items that exceed the height limits of the machine's internal chamber and do not have an official riser base, you can:
- Turn off the Tray Detection Function in the settings.
- Remove the base plate and elevate the machine manually as needed.
⚠️ Important: Smoke Exhaust Safety
Removing the base plate significantly alters the machine's internal airflow structure, which will lead to a noticeable decrease in smoke and odor exhaust efficiency. When operating in this state, ensure the workspace is well-ventilated and closely monitor the smoke exhaust conditions.
